Support Functions
Everyone needs a bit of support now and then. And our 92 stores in Ireland are no exception. Luckily, we’ve got world-class support functions on hand to help them, in just about every area you can think of. People from all sorts of specialist and managerial backgrounds can be part of this team, adding their talents to the bigger Carphone Warehouse picture. It’s why you don’t need to be a customer services professional to make our customers happy. Or to go a long, long way with a business like ours.
HR
Human Resources are here to support and develop our people, and work in roles across Recruitment, Learning & Development, Training, Engagement, Reward and Employee Relations, and as HR Business Partners. For some of the roles, you’d need to be CIPD-qualified.
Retail Operations
Our Retail Operations team are there to make sure that nothing gets in the way of providing our customers with the great service they expect and the deals they deserve. Sales, Operational Support as well as Divisional and Regional Managers all sit within this area.
Finance
This team covers a lot of business areas, and is split into a Finance and Commercial Finance team. Typically we look for people with strong passes in ACA, ACCA or CIMA to join us as Finance Analysts, Reporting Managers, Finance Controllers and more.
Commercial
Our Commercial team is made up of the commercial, pricing and supply chain teams. They’re divided into:
- Cellular
- Non Cellular Fixed line
- Pricing
- Supply chain
They take our customer insight and work as a cross-functional team to create inspiring propositions and products. Then they make sure those products go to market in a way that customers want.
Supply Chain
Our Supply Chain look after the flow and distribution of goods from supplier through to delivery and back again. They work very closely with our commercial and buying teams, as well as our suppliers.
Marketing
Our Marketing, PR & Events teams work very closely with Commercial to let our customers know about all the propositions and offers available to them. The end results can be seen ATL (above the line), BTL (below the line) and online across various media channels or events including in press, on TV, or heard on the radio.
